No, I can't do it now
I have to spit this out of my mouth before I completely forget about it again.
All things about Twitter being sucks is actually goes around the US politics and monetization factors around it.
I personally who use Twitter just for my hobby, especially retro computers and almost all-things weeb stuffs, vtubers, mobages, you name it, is not in any part of it. The two above and my hobbies isn't on the same page at all.
That's why leaving Twitter for good is not on my vision yet.
I have read about what Elon do and think when he manages Twitter now. It's disgusting obviously. Doing it for the sake's of his ego.
And when I looked back to what I do on Twitter, it supposed to be not obstructed at all. I just wanna keep up with my oshi, and that's what that is. I just want to see fanarts and cool stuff about what I'm following to.
US politics maybe not directly distrub me, because I could easily find it on fediverse. I don't particularly care about it. But monetization issue is keeping me not so well.
People will say anything, whether it's a real thing or just a bogus, even littering timeline with bots. Whatever it takes, just for engagement, and later for revenue if they subscribe to Blue.
Elon killing social interaction with money and ego.
This same goes for Facebook and TikTok, almost the same way on monetization.
Although what's definitely a good thing I found on fediverse is more new friends. The things I can't get on Twitter all these years because mostly are just my Facebook friends anyway.
In the end I still think I can't leave Twitter for now.
