Since the eighties, our economies have followed the ridiculously absurd paradigm of neoliberalism with its so-called trickle-down effect. That's how we created more and more greedy billionaires, some of whom now seem to think they are godlike and way above all the rest, who should only say “Yes, Sir” while bowing deeply at regular intervals.
Being rich became the precondition for enjoying human rights; being poor now means being unworthy and guilty of a personalized lack of success.
We have to take our power back through social justice and holistic, ecological forms of economy.
The new bottom-up movement to leave big tech platforms possessed by either morally weak or narcissist billionaires in love with #fascist #elitism gives hope that not all is lost when people connect on alternative platforms, using the luckily already developed #fediverse to unite, inform, and support each other.
The first step to beware of fascist mass psychosis that begins with chronic mental confusion, is to stay internally calm and sane, away from emotional darkness like anger or fear. Solidarity and hope are the magic keys to counter the wave of fascism which looms threateningly over us on a global scale.
I would like us all to follow the example of the daily #GeorgiaProtests, descending onto the streets to show our own collective megapower to counter MAGA & Co.: We are so many more, we are the base of the pyramid. Without our explicit or implicit consent, and with us leaving their algorithmically hidden places of manipulation, the ones at the top will tumble and fall. But: United we stand!
We live in truly chaotic times and are on a knife edge; it is touch and go... We have to move either into fascist downfall or climb into a new and by far better age full of knowledge paired with wisdom and emotional intelligence, and especially full of respect not only for every human being but also for every living being and Gaia, our beautiful Mother Earth.
Let's go for it, because yes, we can! We are the people, and the time is now!
