About this instance
Writefreely is a welcoming home for blogging and reading with minimal distractions. You will soon learn and appreciate how much this interface wants you to blog something. Also there are apps!
- Federation is enabled, but not much more than exposing your ActivityPub feed is supported by Writefreely.
- Writefreely does not support media uploading, but you can embed external images (and more!). An image hosting service will be added to tchncs.de in the future.
- Login with our Mastodon instance is planned, but Writefreely currently only supports one custom auth provider
This is an addition to our more feature-rich, but not actively maintained Plume instance. Check it out if you are curious.
Rules
- be nice to reach other
- you must not publish commercial content without reaching out first
- this is no place for spreading conspiracy myths
- do not publish content illegal in Germany and/or France, such as holocaust denial or Nazi symbolism
- do not publish content promoting the ideology of National Socialism
- do not publish content that is hateful towards specific individuals or groups, or intended to cause or incite harm
